For Tres Carter, music isn’t just sound—it’s a platform for healing and transformation. Raised on R&B, and inspired by Hip-Hop legends, Tres blends through-provoking flow with faith, using conscious rap to unpack culture, his struggles, relationships, God’s grace, and more.
His recent release My Beautiful Dying Marriage is a 3-act Hip-Hop drama conveying the story of a creative learning to become a husband without ever having seen the example. At its core is the breakthrough moment that redefined his life:

In a genre that rarely celebrates loving, monogamous relationships, Tres boldly honors the beauty of commitment and sacrificial love, offering a fresh perspective on marriage and redemption.
DAD & DAUGHTER CHASING DREAMS
Every big dream starts somewhere. For 10-year-old Autumn Carter, it started with a talent show—and the desire to sing something entirely her own. Her dad, artist and producer Tres Carter, helped bring that dream to life: finding the beat, co-writing the song with her, recording her in the studio, and mixing and mastering the finished track.
“Be a Diva” is a joyful anthem about confidence with kindness—dreaming boldly, knowing your worth, and lifting others as you rise. What began as a father-daughter project has taken Autumn to the Change City Church Women’s Conference, Barnett Recreation Center, and the “Give That Girl the Mic” showcase at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts, with a FOX28 feature and interview by Alissa Henry along the way.
